Always Coming Home edition by Denise Longrie Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I really love this author's writing style. I felt like I was sitting in a comfy chair with a hot cup of tea listening to a friend tell a story. The writing was so wonderfully conversational and real, the characters highly engaging, especially Tishpak the lovable dog, and the story interesting and concise---it reeled me in and offered a surprising twist at the end. It was a very satisfying read and I can't wsit to read more stories by this author.
The relaxed comfortable style made it was easy to put yourself in the story, to see the scenes as characters the saw them and see the other characters through the main characters eyes.
Longrie writes with a high degree of literary skill, weaving a sensitive tale of a woman whose life is turned upside down by the return of an old boyfriend and the mysterious touch of a supernatural power. Likeable characters, and an interesting plot....
