I enjoyed this story very much. As an anime fan, the cover was the first thing that caught my attention. It made me want to read more. My favorite character would have to be Shawn (because he is determined to be the best Dragon Warrior he can be and even when he gets his butt kicked around enough, that still doesn't stop him) and he's also got a human, boyish side (he still wants to impress one woman in particular and has respect for them). If you love classics like DragonBall Z & Naruto, then you'll love this book. Looking forward to more in the series.Tiffany Fulton

If you are an anime fan, this is a must have. If you are interested in fantasy, this is a must have. While a little rough in how it's presented, the concept behind the story is very well thought of. The characters are definitely likable and draw you into the plot. Each one has their own distinctive personality that helps move the story along. It's definitely full of action and excitement. Im waiting on part 2 to hurry up and be published so that I can continue to dive into this great fantasy tale.
Greatly enjoyed this book, very pleased with the out lay. The term of events really kept me interested though out the entire book. Great buy.
it made me want go back to watching anime everything....very nice! i hope it can be some what close to part 1 when part 2 arrives, it was a real nice hook up and it brung back some childhood memories
Mizuki is an anime readers dream. The author uses great detail to describe the characters, particularly Shawn. The transition between each character is smooth and I enjoyed the authors sense of humor. Must BUY!
Such a cool and awesome manga. The battles were outstanding. The detailing of the characters and their powers was great as well. Although short, the story was enough to grasp your attention.
Mizuki was a great read indeed, I felt completely immersed in the character that is Shawn Mizuki, his character dynamic is very interesting. This truly resembles the anime genre from top to bottom and continues to stay in that direction until the end of the book!
I really enjoyed passing time by reading Mizuki during lunch breaks at work. It most definitely is a good anime style book to read. It's filled with lots of interesting, easy to relate to, and humorous characters. The only thing I don't like about Mizuki is the fact that its not a Manga type of anime; as far as illustrations goes, I pretty much imagined all the fight scene including my favorite fight in the intro (not going to go into details because I don't want to spoil it for future readers) which I couldn't have done without the author's well detailed elaborations. The best thing about the book is the fact that its a series type of book, which I love because I like to watch characters progress through out the story. Overall it's a good book! Would make this my 3rd favorite anime if It were in the form of a manga
